How many points do I earn?
You will earn a one-time bonus of 50 points when you successfully connect a retailer account, provided it has at least 1 order date with a transaction date within 6 months from the upload time. Bonus points are only available for selected retailer accounts.
You'll get rewarded points for the purchases you made within the last 7 days.
After that, use the synced accounts when shopping online to make sure your points are added to your ReceiptJar account.
Why haven't I received my 50 one-time points?
- Your account is newly created and has no order history for the past 6 months.
- Your account has already been successfully synced before by you or another ReceiptJar user.
- Your account has never synced successfully.
- Your account is not an Amazon account.
Why am I sometimes asked to sign in again?
This can happen when the retailer automatically signs you out for security purposes. In such cases, ReceiptJar will ask you to sign in again to ensure the synchronization of your latest purchases.
How often should I claim my receipts?
It is recommended that you check the app at least once a week to see if you have any claimable online receipts.
What should I do if I get stuck when claiming points
1. Check if the retailer is connected with a green tick.
2. Allow at least 5 minutes for the sync process to complete.
3. Ensure that you have a stable internet connection.
4. There may be a temporary issue with the retailer’s website. You can try opening the retailer’s website in your phone’s browser to verify if it is working properly.
5. Check if you are using a VPN, as this may interfere with the syncing process.
6. Some of our supported retailer accounts currently do not support “Cancelled” orders.
I’m trying to claim my receipts, but it says “No Receipts found”
If you’re experiencing this, it might be due to one of the following reasons:
1. You signed in to a retailer account with no orders.
Please make sure you are logged in to the correct retailer account that contains your recent purchases. You may click the “Sign in with a different account” button to connect to the correct retailer account.
2. Your recent orders were already claimed and rewarded.
You can visit the Receipt page in the app to confirm whether your orders have already been successfully claimed.
3. Your recent purchase may be an in-store receipt.
In-store purchases cannot be claimed through syncing. To receive rewards for an in-store receipt, please upload the receipt using the app’s camera.
4. Your order is more than 7 days old.
Only orders placed within the last 7 days can be claimed and rewarded.
5. Your order was placed before you registered in the app.
We can only reward purchases that were made on or after your app registration date.
6. Your purchase was a gift card or reload transaction.
At the moment, gift card and reload purchases made through your retailer account are not supported.
