2025 Valentine’s Day Promotion Terms and Conditions

Find the Love in ReceiptJar Contest is provided by The U Group & Co Limited (ABN 68 610 817 831), Level 9, 111 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000, Australia (referred to herein as "ReceiptJar"). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the promotion.

1. Eligibility: 

• • The promotion is open to all registered ReceiptJar users following one of the official ReceiptJar Instagram accounts:  
    • @receipt_jar for AUSTRALIA
    • @receiptjar_us for USA
    • @receiptjar_ca for CANADA
  • Participants must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years or older to be eligible to participate.
  • Participants’ must have a registered and active ReceiptJar account without any record of Fraudulent Activity as defined in the Receipt Jar Terms and Conditions.
  • Participants must reside in either Australia, Canada or the United States.
  • If a participant does not comply with the above eligibility, they forfeit their entry. 

2. Prize Description: 

• • The prize is 1,000 ReceiptJar points.

3. Promotion Period: 

• • The promotion period is February 14, 15 & 16, 2025.
    • US & CA (EST/EDT), AU (AWST) : FEB 14 00:01 - FEB 16: 23:59 
  • Winners will be notified via direct message and announced via an Instagram story on each of the official ReceiptJar Instagram accounts: @receipt_jar, @receiptjar_us and @receiptjar_ca.
  • There will be a total of:
    • 10 winners announced on @receipt_jar
    • 10 winners announced on @receiptjar_us
    • 10 winners announced on @receiptjar_ca

4. How to Enter: 

• • Registered Users must follow one of the official ReceipJar Instagram accounts:  @receipt_jar, @receiptjar_us or @receiptjar_ca.
  • A registered user can submit the screenshot of RJ within the app along with their referral code to the ReceiptJar IG account. The screenshot must include the entire screen. 
  • A registered user can only enter once and must follow one of the official Instagram accounts for the duration of the promotion period to be eligible. 
  • If a user has decided to unfollow the page during the competition period they forfeit their entry.

5. Prize: 

• • Only participants who have correctly entered the promotion (Section 4) and have met the eligibility criteria (Section 1) will be eligible to join. 
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

6. Selection of Winner: 

• • On Monday, February 17, 2025, all eligible entries will be reviewed and 10 winners will be randomly selected from each of the official ReceiptJar Instagram accounts : @receipt_jar,  @receiptjar_us and @receiptjar_ca.
  • When the winning entries have been verified, each winner will be notified via direct message and the points credited to their registered ReceiptJar account.

7. Publicity: 

• • By participating in the promotion, participants agree to the use of their username and likeness for promotional purposes related to the promotion and ReceiptJar's marketing materials.

8. General Conditions: 

• • ReceiptJar reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion at any time without prior notice. 
  • ReceiptJar's decision regarding all aspects of the promotion, including but not limited to eligibility, winner selection, and prize allocation, shall be final and binding. 
  • By participating in the promotion, participants agree to abide by these terms and any additional instructions provided by ReceiptJar.

9. Privacy Policy: 

• • Any personal information collected during the promotion will be used solely for the purpose of administering the promotion and will be handled in accordance with the ReceiptJar Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law: 

• • The promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. By participating in this promotion, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms.
