Receipts that are not accepted:
- Screenshots of e-receipts
- Photos of physical receipts (please use the app’s camera to submit physical receipts)
- Phone, internet, electricity bills, or rent payment receipts
- Insurance receipts of any kind
- Flight, holiday, or accommodation receipts
To ensure your forwarded receipts are approved, please include:
- Retailer's name
- Items purchased
- Date and time of purchase
- Total amount paid
- Receipt is not older than 7 days
Why aren't my forwarded e-receipts showing in the app?
Several reasons could explain why your forwarded receipts are not appearing:
- The receipt was not approved because it’s missing key information, is older than 7 days, or is in a format we don’t accept.
- You sent a PDF attachment, and we are unable to read PDFs.
- The email used to forward the receipt doesn't match your ReceiptJar account email.
- Please allow at least 24 hours for processing forwarded e-receipts.
